Markets & Shops
There's a fresh food and flower market on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm. On Saturdays, it often has handicrafts as well. It is on the Octroi level of the town right next to the tourist office.
There is also an antiques and flea market on Sundays from 7 am to 5 pm on the Place Amélie Pollonais next to the Welcome Hotel.

In addition to the shops in the old town, there is a wonderful, family-owned soap shop and perfumery, Terres Dorées, one level up near Riviera Holiday Homes. They make their soaps and lotions on the premises.
Place Amélie Pollonais
When a cruise ship is in the harbor, a market is held on Place Amélie Polonaise. Click here for the cruise ship schedule.

Market at Jardin François Binon (next to Tourist Office)

The "Little Casino" is a market on our street. They carry a lot of the basics that you would want for the apartment, including fresh fruit, baguettes, snacks, drinks, toiletries, etc. They are closed on Wednesdays and they close for the "sieste" between 1-4 pm. There is another slightly larger Casino up a few levels on Avenue Maréchal Foch (across the street from the Tourist Office and down a few shops) and a much larger Super U right next to the train station in Beaulieu-sur-Mer (one train stop away from VF; bags to carry items purchased are on the laundry closet door).

Boulangerie de la Paix (up a couple of levels; put in walking directions) has delicious pastries and baguettes. Go early if possible!
